Residential Permit

Ownership of property in Cyprus entitles non-Cypriot individuals to apply for a residence permit. For EU citizens, the process is purely procedural, a simple application at the immigration office is all that’s required to receive the permit.

For non-EU citizens, the process remains clear and accessible. Permanent residency can be obtained by submitting a basic set of documents and demonstrating that the applicant and their family are financially self-sufficient. Required documentation includes:

• A copy of the sale or rental agreement
• Proof of income (pension, retirement, or other relevant sources)
• Three passport photos and a valid passport
